Claims Specialist (P rofessional Schemes)

An opportunity has become available for a Claims Specialist to join our Professional Risks team.

This is an office-based position located in our Wellington CBD Branch at 1 Willis Street.

About the mahi

  • End-to-end management of Professional Indemnity claims for a variety of membership organisations, and handling associated liability claims for these clients.

  • Advocating for clients by providing assistance with claims (which can be technical and complex) to both the client and the broker and negotiating favourable outcomes for clients

  • Ensuring a high standard of relationship management and client support throughout the claims process.

  • Providing support to the broking teams at renewal and whenever claims information is required

  • Supporting the Claims Manager and other colleagues where required
