Role Description We are hiring a Quality Engineer to drive continual product and process improvements of our pioneering technology. You will develop quality processes and methodologies and will lead and participate in cross-functional teams, working with Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Suppliers and Operations to address and improve quality/reliability and manufacturability issues. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role with duties focused on the entire product development lifecycle, from early R&D to validation testing, pilot builds and ultimately, SOP/customer deliveries. You will be an integral part of Form Energy's Quality Team, helping ensure that all products meet customer and company requirements.

Relocation assistance is available. What you'll do:

Work closely with Design/Manufacturing Engineering to develop and document measurement, inspection, and test methods in support of our Control Plans.

Support change management and execution of process development experiments

Regularly review PFMEAs and Control Plans and support updates and revisions

Lead/assist in the identification and resolution of manufacturing quality issues

Participate in continuous improvement activities with Design/Manufacturing Engineering and external Suppliers

Support Statistical Process Control (SPC) activities and use critical thinking to efficiently reduce variation during manufacturing

Lead non-conforming material control activitiesWhat you'll bring:

5-10 years of quality systems experience in a manufacturing environment

Experienced in with SPC, PFMEAs and Control Plans

Strong aptitude with electronic test and measurements systems

Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams
