    Position: 2026-2027 Physical Education Teachers - Elementary (Multiple Positions) - Probationary (Posting number 2627-3692)

    Start Date: August 31, 2026

    New teacher orientation will take place Monday, August 17th - Friday, August 21st, 2026

    Requirements: Must have NYS Certification K-12 Physical Education

  • Candidates must have knowledge and understanding of child growth and development, effective instructional strategies, classroom management, learning assessment and diagnosis, and research related to learning

    Responsibilities:

  • Provides comprehensive instruction in the District approved Physical Education curriculum

  • Demonstrates a deep and rich knowledge of subject area and the ability to convey it to the students

  • Assess student learning in a variety of ways

  • Maintains accurate and timely student records available for teacher, student or parent reference

    Salary: As per current Webster Teachers Contract as well as education and experience
