We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Dietary Aide to join our culinary team at Lanessa Extended Care in Webster. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and services to our residents. With no experience required, we offer on-the-job training to ensure your success in this role.
Responsibilities:
Follow therapeutic diet cards as ordered by the physician
Ensure proper serving temperature of food and beverages
Deliver meals on a timely basis
Maintain visual appeal of food and emphasize the use of garnishes
Adhere to daily nourishment list and stock nourishment stations
Assist the cook in monitoring meal serving times
Adhere to sanitation and storage policy and procedure
Perform other duties assigned by the dining director
Specific Requirements:
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
Must be able to follow oral and written communication
Must maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc., and maintain the appearance of the dining service areas
Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing dietary practices
Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public
