What You'll Do
Teach an elementary classroom
Build strong relationships with students and families
Provide engaging instruction in literacy, math, and foundational learning skills
Create a positive classroom culture where students feel safe and supported
Collaborate with grade-level teams and specialists
Contribute to a positive school culture focused on student success
What We Offer
Minimum starting salary: $50,000 for educators new to the profession
(The 202627 starting salary schedule is pending board approval.)

Licensure / Endorsement Requirements
Preferred candidates will hold one or more of the following Iowa endorsements appropriate for elementary instruction:
K6 Elementary Classroom Teacher 102
K8 Elementary Education 103
K8 Reading 148
K8 Social Studies 164
K8 Language Arts 144
Other applicable Iowa elementary content endorsements may also be considered.
Candidates who are eligible for licensure or are currently completing an approved teacher preparation program are encouraged to apply.
