    (The 2026–27 starting salary schedule is pending board approval.)

    Licensure / Endorsement Requirements

    Preferred candidates will hold one or more of the following Iowa endorsements appropriate for elementary instruction:

  • K–6 Elementary Classroom Teacher – 102

  • K–8 Elementary Education – 103

  • K–8 Reading – 148

  • K–8 Social Studies – 164

  • K–8 Language Arts – 144

    Other applicable Iowa elementary content endorsements may also be considered.

    Candidates who are eligible for licensure or are currently completing an approved teacher preparation program are encouraged to apply.
