  • Teach an elementary classroom (grades K - 4)

  • Build strong relationships with students and families

  • Provide engaging instruction in literacy, math, and foundational learning skills

  • Contribute to a positive school culture focused on student success

  • Minimum starting salary: $50,000 for educators new to the profession

    (The 2026 - 27 starting salary schedule is pending board approval.)

    Licensure / Endorsement Requirements

    Preferred candidates will hold one or more of the following Iowa endorsements appropriate for elementary instruction:

  • K - 6 Elementary Classroom Teacher --102

  • K - 8 Elementary Education -- 103

  • K - 8 Reading -- 148

  • K - 8 Social Studies --164

  • K - 8 Language Arts -- 144

  • Other applicable Iowa elementary content endorsements may also be considered!

    Candidates who are eligible for licensure or are currently completing an approved teacher preparation program are encouraged to apply.
