Industrial Maintenance Technician

Position Summary We're looking for a hands-on Industrial Maintenance Technician to keep our equipment running safely and efficiently. This role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of manufacturing equipment across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair production equipment to minimize downtime
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing machinery
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
  • Install, modify, and remove equipment as needed
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Observe equipment in operation and identify performance issues or failure risks
  • Replace or repair defective components and verify proper operation
  • Adjust and optimize machine settings for performance and reliability
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and equipment history
  • Support production teams with equipment-related issues and training as needed
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Identify and communicate opportunities for equipment or process improvement

Core Skills and Experience
  • Strong troubleshooting ability across multiple systems (mechanical, electrical, etc.)
  • Experience with industrial equipment maintenance in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics
  • Working knowledge of:
    • Motors, drives, and basic controls
    • Pneumatic and hydraulic systems
    • Hand tools and diagnostic equipment
  • Basic math and measurement skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

Safety and Compliance
  • Follow all OSHA and company safety requirements
  • Understand and apply lockout/tagout procedures
  • Use PPE and safety equipment appropriately
  • Support and participate in preventive maintenance programs

Physical Requirements
  • Lift up to 50 lbs
  • Stand, walk, bend, and work on feet for extended periods (8-10 hours)
  • Work in a manufacturing environment around active equipment

Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years industrial maintenance experience
  • Experience with CNC or fabrication equipment (press brakes, lasers, etc.)
  • Electrical troubleshooting (120V-480V)
  • Welding or fabrication skills (a plus, not required)
