Senior Purchasing & Materials Manager

This is a FT Direct Hire position

A growing manufacturing company in Waynesboro is seeking a Senior Purchasing & Materials Manager to lead and optimize purchasing, inventory, and materials management operations.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring uninterrupted production through effective supply planning, inventory control, and supplier management, including global sourcing and imports .

Key Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing and inventory planning to maintain optimal stock levels

• Establish reorder points and safety stock to support production

• Lead supplier negotiations, contracts, and cost-reduction initiatives

• Manage global sourcing, import shipments and logistics

• Collaborate with production and planning teams

• Supervise and develop purchasing staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required

• 5–7+ years of purchasing or materials management experience (manufacturing preferred)

• Global sourcing and import logistics experience

• Strong inventory and procurement systems knowledge

Compensation & Benefits

• $100,000-$110K salary
