Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician in Wayne, NJ ! This role is on site/in person. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration:
Type: Ongoing contract with opportunity for full time offer
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00AM – 5:00PM
Pay: $26.00 an hour
Responsibilities of the Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician:
Prepares, fills and compounds medications using standard formulas and processes such as weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients.
Maintains the pharmacy according to USP 797 standards. This includes maintenance, cleaning, testing, and re-certification of the prep room, ante room, and the clean room.
Maintain and provide drug usage reports to our pharmaceutical partners as requested.
Maintains inventory levels of supplies needed by both pharmacy and nursing.
Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by a pharmacist.
Participate in the quality assurance programs for patient care.
Coordinate pharmacy services with nursing services in order to provide safe and appropriate patient care.
Qualifications for the Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician:
High school diploma or GED
Licensed Pharmacy Technician
Preferred CPhT certification
Compounding experience
Sterile compounding certification preferred
Sterile compounding experience preferred
Ability to lift 50 pounds on occasion
