Job Title: Setup Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Setup Technician who will play a crucial role in preparing and dismantling mobile trailers for job site use. The ideal candidate will be multi-functional, capable of performing a variety of essential setup and teardown tasks.
Responsibilities
Set up and tear down mobile trailers for job site use.
Perform duties essential to setting up units, including anchoring, blocking and leveling, seaming, VAPS installation, and installing steps, canopies, and ramps.
Load and unload trucks, build and install furniture, and move equipment around the yard.
Complete tasks essential for the knock-down of buildings, such as building shipping walls, securing exterior walls, and disconnecting utilities.
Secure all items for shipment and clean the site, removing all installations like blocks, steps, anchors, ramps, ABS pads, and steel piers.
Work outdoors, moving material and equipment around the storage yard area.
Essential Skills
Carpentry skills and familiarity with construction trades.
Experience in construction.
Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
Mechanical aptitude.
Current valid driver's license with a good driving record.
Basic computer knowledge.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
HVAC technician skills.
Repair and mechanical skills.
Electrical and plumbing knowledge.

Work Environment
The work primarily takes place at our yard located in Wayland, with potential visits to customer sites. Regular working hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays during peak season. We value a 'Do It All' attitude in our team members.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wayland, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
