Pike County Children Services Ongoing Caseworker in Waverly, Ohio
Job Title: Ongoing caseworker
Benefits -- Health/dental/vision/life insurance; Paid sick/vacation/holiday/personal days; Flex and Comp time; OPERS retirement plan; On-Call pay plus agency phone and laptop provided; After probationary period have the choice to work 8 hours a day for 5 days a week or 10 hours a day for 4 days a week; Supportive administration and co-workers.
Full-Time Hours 8:00 a.m. -- 4:30 p.m.
Starting Pay: $22.50 an hour
Job Qualifications: Applicant must have a bachelor's degree in social work, social services, or a related field. Must be able to meet deadlines and ensure compliance with state and federal mandates for children and families. Must have valid driver's license, car insurance and not care to drive long distances. Must pass background check. Must be a team player and get along well with others.
Job Duties: Completing case assessments and develop case plans for families; monitor ongoing services to families/children to determine compliance with case plans and the safety of children; monthly visitation with families that are receiving ongoing services and children in foster care and/or relative placement; perform drug screens; preparation for court cases and testifying; communicating and coordinating services with other county agencies; completing paperwork in a timely manner; on-call responsibilities.
