Survey CAD Technician

About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Survey CAD Technician to join our team in Milwaukee, WI. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of surveying and mapping projects while growing your technical skills in a supportive, team‑focused environment. Experience with CAD platforms such as MicroStation, Civil 3D, or Trimble Business Center is preferred, but we are willing to provide on‑the‑job training for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Compute various types of surveys, including topographic, boundary, and construction surveys.
Create and set up staking files for field crews using CAD software.
Process mapping and scanning data to produce accurate and high‑quality survey deliverables.
Work closely with project managers and surveyors to ensure timely and accurate project completion.
Maintain organized project files, documentation, and CAD standards.
Assist with quality control checks to verify accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
Qualifications
Experience with MicroStation, Civil 3D, or Trimble Business Center (preferred, not required).
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
Excellent problem‑solving abilities and the ability to work independently.
Willingness to learn new technologies, tools, and surveying methods.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Wauwatosa, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
