PHARMACY TECHNICIAN - INPATIENT

Full Time (.9 FTE, 72 hours every pay period)
PM shift – 8-hour shifts, every 3rd weekend, holiday rotation

Job Description:
The Pharmacy Technician performs accurate and timely preparation and distribution of pharmaceutical products and associated functions, under the supervision of a pharmacist. Performs multiple technician job duties of the Pharmacy Department including clean room, cart fill, repackaging, inventory, automated dispensing cabinet, outpatient, first dose, clerical area, chemotherapy preparation, and carousel.
Experience/Qualifications:
Knowledge of organizational and project management practices is normally acquired through completion of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in a health-related field, pharmacy and computers beneficial.
National Pharmacy Technician Certification is beneficial.
