The Engineering Technician will provide programming support for the design, implementation, and startup of equipment. This role requires interaction with vendors, customers, and internal personnel to successfully complete projects. The position involves travel, averaging 45% in 5-day trips.
Responsibilities
Provide programming support for equipment design, implementation, and startup.
Collaborate with vendors, customers, and internal teams to ensure project completion.
Travel for project-related activities, averaging 45% of the time in 5-day trips.
Essential Skills
5+ years in a programming role.
5+ years of experience with PLCs.
Experience with Fluid Process and Controls.
Proficiency in Rockwell, Controls, and Allen Bradley PLCs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Wonderware.
Knowledge of HMI FactoryTalk.
Familiarity with RS Logic 5000.
Panel building and schematic troubleshooting skills.
Work Environment
The working environment is composed of a team of three programmers under the direction of an engineering manager. The role involves both in-house work and travel, with trips averaging 45% of the time in 5-day durations. The company offers a flexible work environment when not on the road. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
