Job Title: Production Supervisor Job Description
This role involves overseeing the operations of a high-quality feed grade soybean facility, ensuring the safety, quality, and productivity of all processes. As a Production Supervisor, you will manage a team of 5-10 Mill Operators, guiding them in troubleshooting the milling process, ensuring product quality, and handling operational logistics.
Responsibilities
Ensure the safety, quality, and productivity of all operations and equipment.
Supervise 5-10 Mill Operators.
Lead and work alongside Mill Operators to troubleshoot the milling process.
Test product quality.
Schedule work shifts and manage timesheets and time off requests.
Address performance and employee relations concerns.
Act as the first point of contact on a 24/7 basis for operational, logistical, or technical issues, including mechanical breakdowns.
Train Operators and work closely with the VP to create a safe environment.
Handle product ordering and equipment purchasing.
Essential Skills
5+ years of experience in Production Supervision.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Experience in food manufacturing (5-10+ years).
Leadership skills (5+ years).
Innovative management skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in bioprocessing.
Leadership development expertise.

Work Environment
Work in a GMP environment with 1st shift hours, Monday through Friday. The role requires being on call and involves working onsite and partially outside during periods throughout the day.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $105000.00/yr.
