JOB REQUIREMENTS: Key Responsibilities Perform a variety of welding processes on structural steel, sheet metal, and pipe components. Fabricate, fit, and assemble steel components per blueprints and weld symbols. Read and interpret fabrication drawings, weld symbols, and industry standards. Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment including press brakes, saws, drills, and grinders. Measure and inspect work using tape measures, calipers, squares, and levels to ensure accuracy. Operate overhead cranes and forklifts to move materials safely and efficiently. Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements at all times. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. 2+ years of structural steel welding and fabrication experience preferred. Strong welding skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and weld symbols. Experience with structural steel fabrication processes including cutting, fitting, and prep. Proficient with measurement tools and basic math. Familiarity with fabrication equipment and shop tools. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Dependable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Frequent standing, bending, squatting, and lifting. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
