JOB REQUIREMENTS: We are hiring a reliable and hardworking General Laborer to perform material handling, machine operating, and painting duties in our production environment. This position plays a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Material Handling: Load and unload steel materials and finished products Move materials using forklifts, overhead cranes, and other equipment Store and organize materials in designated locations Verify materials received against purchase orders Report shortages, damage, or incorrect shipments Assist with inventory and stock rotation Prioritize tasks to meet scheduling demands Machine Operating: Operate a variety of machines used in steel manufacturing Calibrate machines before production Perform routine inspections and cleaning Feed raw materials into semi-automated machines Load and unload materials within the shop and from trucks Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines Assist with basic troubleshooting and minor maintenance Painting: Prepare steel surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment Inspect painted surfaces for quality, thickness, and consistency Make touch ups or corrections when needed Maintain painting equipment including sprayers and compressors Follow all safety and PPE requirements Keep simple records of materials used and work completed ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred Ability to operate forklifts, cranes, and material handling equipment Basic machine operation and maintenance knowledge Painting or surface preparation experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Ability to work independently or as part of a team Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching Comfortable working in a noisy, dusty, or temperature varying environment ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Apply Online: https://endresmfg.com/employment-opportunities/
