Job Title: 2nd Shift Welder Job Description
This role involves 80% MIG and 20% TIG welding on mild and stainless steel. Additionally, you will engage in some fabrication tasks including assembly, measuring, cutting, and bending. The work environment is more akin to a job shop rather than production welding.
Responsibilities
Perform MIG and TIG welding on mild and stainless steel.
Engage in fabrication tasks such as assembly, measuring, cutting, and bending.
Interpret and work from blueprints to complete welding tasks.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding.
1 year of experience in TIG welding.
Ability to work with stainless and mild steel.
Experience in fabrication and blueprint reading.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 1 year of MIG welding experience.

Work Environment
Work the second shift from 3pm to 1:30am, four days a week (4-10s). Overtime is available in a clean and organized shop. The department has 12 welders when fully staffed, and there are a total of 75 employees including office staff.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $50000.00/yr.
All OT is voluntary Direct Hire Family owned and the owner is very approachable and on the shop floor at times 3-5% annual raises Very laid back and relaxed work environment Clean and organized facility and shop 10% 2nd shift premium Tuition reimbursement 90 day review anywhere from nothing to a $1 - completely depending on their performance and attendance
