QPS EMPLOYMENT GROUP Machine Operator- Coil Brush Machine in WAUKESHA, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: - Perform complete machine setups and changeovers, including adjustments to form rollers, channel coiler, retaining wire, shoes, trimmers, mandrels, piston assembly equipment, and other machine components - Operate coil brush and related production machines to meet or exceed standard production rates while maintaining quality and specification requirements - Conduct routine maintenance such as lubrication, general cleaning, and housekeeping to support a safe work environment - Maintain setup records, data sheets, and spare parts cabinets - Complete documentation, including statistical process charts (SPC), time sheets, and labor summaries as required - Cut raw materials and box finished product when applicable - Perform or obtain quality checks at each operational step and report issues immediately to the production supervisor - Assist in training and support of new department team members ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: - Knowledge of basic shop math and metric measurements - Ability to use measuring tools such as rulers, micrometers, and dial calipers - Strong attention to detail, good analytical/problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Strong organizational skills are preferred - Frequent pulling, pushing, reaching, and repetitive motions - Ability to stand and walk for sustained periods and perform tasks like stooping and lifting - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; weights above 50 pounds may require assistance ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: E-Mail a Rsum: teresa.considine@qpsemployment.com Apply Online: https://jobs.qpsemployment.com/jobs/805882 This position is listed by a private employment agency.
