Job Title: Production Worker – 3rd Shift
Job Description
The Production Worker on 3rd shift performs general production tasks across multiple areas of the facility while operating and monitoring high-speed machinery in a GMP-regulated environment. This role includes maintaining a clean and sanitary work area, performing basic machine set-ups and breakdowns, and ensuring consistent product quality and safety during overnight operations.
Responsibilities
Perform general production work in various areas throughout the facility according to established procedures and GMP standards.
Operate and monitor high-speed production machinery safely and efficiently during 3rd shift hours.
Perform basic machine set-ups and breakdowns as needed to support production schedules.
Carry out sanitation and cleaning tasks, including CIP or related sanitation activities, to maintain a hygienic and compliant production environment.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of assigned workstations and production areas throughout the shift.
Follow all GMP, safety, and sanitation guidelines, including proper use of required personal protective equipment.
Inspect products and materials visually to help ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
Handle general labor tasks such as lifting, moving, and staging materials as required to support production flow.
Document work activities as required and communicate any equipment issues, safety concerns, or process deviations to the appropriate personnel.
Support overtime and weekend production needs as required, including working extended hours when necessary.
Essential Skills
At least 2+ years of general production experience at the same company or in a similar manufacturing environment.
Minimum 2+ years of experience working in a GMP-regulated production setting.
At least 1+ year of CIP or sanitation experience in a GMP environment.
Hands-on experience operating production or packaging machinery.
Experience working in high-speed production environments.
Ability to follow detailed GMP, sanitation, and safety procedures consistently.
Capability to perform basic machine set-ups and breakdowns.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain clean and organized workstations.
Willingness and ability to work 3rd shift and mandatory weekend overtime as needed.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in general labor roles within manufacturing or food/consumer goods production.
Familiarity with CIP processes, sanitation chemicals, and cleaning protocols in GMP facilities.
Comfort working with automated or semi-automated equipment in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a production team.
Strong reliability, punctuality, and commitment to consistent attendance.

Work Environment
This role is based in a production facility operating under strict GMP standards. The position is on 3rd shift, with typical hours from 10:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., Monday through Friday, with mandatory weekend work that can bring the total to 50+ hours per week. The production area is maintained at a comfortable room temperature, neither hot nor cold. Team members work around high-speed production equipment and are required to wear GMP-compliant attire, including hair nets, beard nets as applicable, smocks, steel-toe footwear, non-slip shoes, safety glasses, and hard hats, along with any other required personal protective equipment. The environment is fast-paced, safety-focused, and highly structured to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waukesha, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.48 - $25.48/hr.
