Actalent Controls Engineer in Waukesha, Wisconsin

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems

  • Develop electrical control schematics, panel layouts, and I/O documentation

  • Specify and configure automation hardware (PLCs, drives, sensors, safety devices)

  • Support installation, commissioning, and startup of new equipment and systems

  • Diagnose and resolve control system issues to minimize downtime

  • Collaborate with mechanical, process, and quality engineers on system integration

  • Implement safety standards and ensure compliance with applicable codes (NFPA, UL, OSHA, etc.)

  • Modify and improve existing control systems to enhance performance and reliability

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Waukesha, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
