The Position: Under the direction of the Asphalt Plant Area Manager, the Asphalt Plant Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations associated with asphalt plant supervision and asphalt production. In addition, will be directing and coordinating the activities related to the production of asphalt for internal asphalt customers and external customers. Support daily operations across multiple asphalt plant facilities. Promote safe work practices and assist with safety meetings, inspections, and compliance efforts. Help review project requirements and support asphalt mix design and quality control processes. Coordinate material testing and monitor results with guidance from technical services. Assist with production scheduling, plant maintenance planning, and staffing coordination. Help manage material supply needs to ensure timely and costeffective production. Support budgeting, cost tracking, and invoice processing for plant operations. Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training efforts for plant personnel. Assist with securing necessary permits and coordinating general plant site maintenance. Work with subcontractors and internal teams to support smooth plant operations. Perform additional duties related to asphalt plant operations as needed.
