Summary
As an Engineering intern you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to real-world projects and gain exposure to multiple disciplines of engineering including but not limited to design, manufacturing, and electrical. You will work closely with our team of experienced engineers and professionals, learning from their expertise and guidance. This internship will provide you with valuable insights into the aerospace industry and help you develop your technical skills and knowledge by applying classrooms skills and experience in a real-world environment.
This position is primarily responsible for electrical and electronic development for devices in a wide range of product categories by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for designing, implementing or testing:
Embedded systems
Motor Control
Power Management
Wireless Radios
Electrical Hardware for User Interface
Design PCB schematic and layout implementation
Develop prototyping of new technologies
Use Electrical Computer Aided Design tools, design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks
Develop Hardware Architecture
Prepare design documentation for internal/external customers and assists in problem resolution specific to the program/project
Design electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes
Design and direct engineering personnel in fabrication of test controls apparatus and equipment, and determines methods, procedures, and conditions for testing products
Develop applications of controls, instruments, and systems for new commercial, domestic, and industrial uses
Direct activities to ensure that manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications and customer requirements
Coordinate the purchasing process for procurement of electronic parts.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Preferred:
Currently in the process of completing a four-year engineering degree.
0-3 years of related work experience required.
Knowledge of Altium Designer.

Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Possess the ability to identify problems and work towards a solution.
Physical Demands *
While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to pull handles and push buttons. Requirements may also include climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling. The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.

Compensation
$21 per hour
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
An offer of employment is contingent on successfully passing a drug test and background check, and applicants who do not successfully pass both the drug test and background check will not be considered for employment.
