Principal Accountabilities:
Organize and distribute the daily maintenance schedule, including preparing work assignments for morning meetings
Lead daily coordination meetings and adjust the schedule as needed based on operational priorities
Fill unexpected schedule gaps with appropriate maintenance tasks
Reassign resources to ensure high‑priority maintenance issues are addressed promptly
Provide troubleshooting guidance and outline work plans for urgent maintenance tasks
Collaborate with equipment or asset owners when parts or external contractors are required
Assist in identifying the necessary information for ordering replacement parts
Collaborate with mechanics to ensure unfinished work orders are updated, rescheduled, or marked for rework
Confirm that any required follow‑up tasks are correctly entered into the maintenance system (e.g., SAP)
Ensure all maintenance documentation meets established standards
Verify the availability of parts and materials needed for scheduled jobs throughout the week
Provide guidance and support during preventive maintenance activities
Mentor and train maintenance personnel as needed
Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement in preventive maintenance or assigned tasks
Adjust job plans in the field to ensure successful completion; escalate to planning when further work is required
Ensure feedback on job plans is communicated to planners
Assist maintenance staff with required permits and documentation
Led and coordinated reliability‑driven Root Cause Analyses (RCAs)
Prepare and distribute the weekly maintenance schedule
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Required Qualifications:
Must be 18 years or older
Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
A high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions, which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs., kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to work overtime, including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice
Relevant maintenance experience in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or facility operations. Many roles expect hands‑on familiarity with equipment and repair environments
Experience coordinating maintenance activities, including work orders, scheduling, and leading small teams
Strong organizational and planning skills to manage multiple tasks and schedules simultaneously
Problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities
Familiarity with health and safety regulations and the ability to enforce safe work practices
Ability to maintain a safe, clean working environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using SAP for creating work orders, reviewing equipment history, and tracking maintenance tasks
Experience with the Sockeye scheduling system for labor planning, workload balancing, and coordinating maintenance activities
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data entry, tracking maintenance KPIs, filtering, sorting, and creating basic spreadsheets or maintenance logs
Proficiency in Microsoft Word for developing SOPs, maintenance procedures, reports, memos, and general documentation
