Federal Aviation Administration Supervisory IT Specialist in Watkins, Colorado
Summary The incumbent will serve as a Middle Manager with the Denver OSF Team, AJM-2494. Responsibilities Applies a comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of the work directed in order to provide leadership and guidance to a diverse staff which carry out the responsibility of NAS Terminal Systems Support to operational facilities. This may include development, testing, maintenance, field support, and deployment of hardware and/or software. This can also include build planning/scheduling, development of support documentation (e.g. System Support Directives, maintenance handbooks, IETMs, TI manuals, LOAs and MOAs), Safety Rick Management (SRM), and contracts/business management related to requirements associated with the Terminal Second Level Engineering (TSLE) mission. Serves as a recognized expert within the Air Traffic Organization and the Federal Aviation Administration and is called on to provide leadership for highly complex and challenging activities under minimal direction of the TSLE Support Manager. In some cases, acts as a policy and standards expert for Terminal to develop new and innovative concepts, approaches, methodologies, technique. and policies for large and challenging issues and high level correspondence. Provides expert guidance and instruction within the TSLE organization, to other organizations within the PMO, DoD, and to corporate FAA, to address diverse, complex issues which often cross multiple projects/programs or functional and technical areas. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized Experience is: Experience leading a team or organization responsible for the development, test, deployment, and technical support of air traffic control systems.
