Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

We offer industry-leading lifecycle services for all types and makes of industrial cranes and hoists, along with sustainable lifting solutions for a variety of industrial applications. Join our team to build industrial overhead cranes and material handling equipment for diverse industries including shipyards, steel factories, and lumber mills.

Responsibilities

  • Operate various machines such as CNC lathes or CNC machining centers to produce products including shafts, wheels, pinions/gears, drums, sheaves, and related machined crane components.

  • Perform set-ups as needed, although not mandatory.

  • Conduct 1-2 set-ups per day as we are a job shop and not focused on production machining.

  • Read and interpret part drawings to ensure machined specifications are accurate.

  • Maintain accurate records, files, and databases within areas of responsibility.

  • Maintain tooling and perform first piece inspections and make necessary adjustments.

  • Conduct preventative maintenance on machines.

  • Operate overhead cranes for material handling.

Work Environment

Work in a facility equipped with multiple machining centers and machine variations, including CNC and manual machines. The role primarily involves repairing and upgrading crane parts, which may range from new to very old. Be prepared to handle parts requiring overhead cranes, as they can weigh over a ton. Safety is a priority, and you will be required to wear personal protective equipment including steel toes, safety glasses, and earplugs.

This is a Permanent position based out of Watertown, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
