Are you eager to launch your career with a leading food manufacturer in Waterloo? Now hiring for Packaging Associates working directly with raw meats including turkey, chicken, pork, and beef.

Packaging Associate Positions – Immediate Openings

Starting Rate: $21.24/hour (Afternoon shift premium: +$1.00/hour)

Paid Orientation First Day: May 6th

Shifts Available:

Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Afternoon Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM (+$1.00/hour premium)

Key Responsibilities

  • Work on a fast-paced packaging line handling raw meat products (turkey, chicken, pork, and beef)

  • Place and arrange raw meat on the line

  • Inspect packages and remove defects to ensure quality

  • Pack meat products into boxes

  • Operate industrial equipment, including band sealers and label machines

  • Palletize finished goods for distribution

  • Rotate through a variety of tasks to keep your day interesting

Requirements

  • Comfortable and willing to work hands-on with raw meats (turkey, chicken, pork, beef) daily

  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs

  • Capable of standing for the entire shift

  • Adaptable to working in a cold environment

  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, manual production setting

  • Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail

Previous food production experience is an asset. Experience in the meat industry is strongly preferred.
