Industrial Staffing Services Inc. LPN FT Evenings in WATERLOO, New York

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time evening position. The ideal candidate will possess a valid NY LPN Licensure and BLS certification (AHA or RQI only), with at least 1 year of experience as an LPN. Candidates must be willing to work day, evening, night, and weekend rotations, including holidays.Responsibilities * Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit. * Provide direct and indirect skilled nursing care for assigned residents under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. * Maintain a collaborative relationship with other nursing staff, physicians, and ancillary staff. * Engage in continuing education and in-service programs to maintain a high level of knowledge and clinical expertise. * Collect data relevant to the resident's physical and psychosocial condition and communicate findings to the RN and other members of the Interdisciplinary Team. * Contribute to the creation of a developmentally age-appropriate and culturally relevant plan of resident care. * Recommend revisions to the plan of care based on evaluation of resident outcomes and collaborate with the resident/family and Interdisciplinary Team. * Participate in mentoring and orientation of staff, considering safety, cost, and impact in planning and delivery of care.Skills and Experience * NY LPN Licensure and BLS certification (AHA or RQI only) - Required * 1 year of experience serving in an LPN capacity at a Long-Term Care (LTC) Facility - Required * NY LPN Licensure and BLS certification (AHA or RQI only) - Required * 1 year of experience serving in an LPN capacity at a Long-Term Care (LTC) Facility - RequiredOccupational exposure to blood borne pathogens is reasonably anticipated.
