Kelly Services Schedule Planner in Waterloo, Iowa

Pay Rate: $25/hour (1-year contract)

Shift: 1 st shift, start between 6am-7:30am and work 8-10 hour days, Monday-Friday with OT that could include weekend work

What’s a typical day as a Schedule Planner? You’ll be:

  • Coordinating and managing the flow of materials through a complex manufacturing supply chain to ensure on-time delivery.

  • Working closely with cross-functional teams to maintain effective communication and a collaborative work environment.

  • Utilizing SAP-PP and scheduling expertise to optimize production planning, adapt to changes, and support service parts fulfillment.

  • Interacting with legacy material planning systems like CWIS.

  • Spending most of your workday on the shop floor, ensuring timely and efficient assembly, service, and inter-factory operations.

  • Potentially driving a John Deere-owned Gator indoors to facilitate efficient material and tool transport after safety training.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have a 4-year degree in any business-related field.

  • Have strong computer skills, especially proficiency in MS Office (Excel).

  • Are open to hands-on, on-your-feet work (90% shop floor presence).

  • Are a recent graduate or eager to develop your manufacturing supply chain skills—this role is trainable!

  • Are comfortable with business casual attire and able to provide metatarsal foot protection.

  • Are able to attend onsite interviews and work without visa sponsorship.
