UnityPoint Clinic is a physician-led, nonprofit health care organization offering comprehensive services in primary care, walk-in care and specialty care. Responsibilities

• 21 bed inpatient unit with 3 providers on each shift seeing

• 8-12 patients per shift

• Adult only unit (ages 17 and up)

• Call schedule requirement

• Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve

• Provide the best outcome for every patient every time

Qualifications

• PMHNP certification is preferred unless applicant has prior inpatient mental health experience as FNP

• Strong preference for candidates with inpatient mental health experience as RN or NP

• Hold an unrestricted license to practice in Iowa

• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice

• Eligible to work in the United States
