Position overview:
We are recruiting an Electrical & Instrumentation Apprentice or an Electrical Apprentice.
This role will report to the Lead Electrician.
Key responsibilities include:
Work within the plants Health and Safety rules at all times.
Learn and gain an understanding of the manufacturing process.
To become fully qualified in chosen craft Electrical & Instrumentation.
Develop the skills to assist in the plants preventative maintenance process.
Assist with breakdown repairs and project work.
Develop problem solving and fault finding skills.
Build and develop team working skills and the ability to interact and work in partnership with other functions.
What are we looking for?
Essential: 2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice.
Previous work experience in chosen area is essential.
Demonstrated interest in engineering or electronics.
Working knowledge of computer systems and databases (Microsoft Office).
Have the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to become a team player.
Good interpersonal skills and a self-starter.
Full driving license required.
