Overview

The Department of Mental health is seeking an experienced and strategic Administrative Services Director to lead and coordinate a broad range of administrative functions in support of the Rural Health Transformational project. This time limited position will work closely with executive leadership and cross-departmental teams to ensure efficient operations, strong fiscal management, and effective program delivery. This position is responsible for leading special projects, supports decision-making, and ensures continuous improvement of administrative functions. The Director will evaluate systems, policies, and services, conducts or oversees studies, and recommends improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Responsibilities include directing and participating in budget development and monitoring of the programs, as well as overseeing contracts, grant agreements, and program initiatives.

The Rural Health Transformation (RHT) project is supported by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) as part of a financial assistance award totaling \$195,053,740.44 with 100 percent funded by CMS/HHS.
