Teaching duties:
- Prepare for and teach assigned classes; provide formal instruction.
- Facilitate student learning, provided effective instruction and evaluate student progress.
- Develop, revise and deliver course curriculum and syllabus.
- Remain current in academic or program discipline and continuing education requirements
- Receive profession development training and stay current in technology to promote student learning

``` - Keep records of grades and attendance and submit them to designated offices - Providing all necessary documentation for grades, student outcomes and successful program completion - Work with other faculty and administrators in developing program curriculum and revisions, standards and policies. - Provide and maintain documentation for all students - Maintain organization of curricular materials, handouts, classroom equipment, etc. - Arrange guest speakers and field trips. - Present materials in a clear and organized manner. - Maintain and distribute a course syllabus and outline that is consistent to the school catalog - Attend meetings or activities pertinent to faculty responsibilities and assignments - Maintain and submit detailed lesson plans on a weekly basis
Welding Instructor Duties:
- Review of curriculum/regulatory requirements
- Effectively communicate and present materials in a clear and organized manner and facilitate student learning
- Job shadow Instructor in classroom settings
- Ability to develop and maintain lesson plans
- Identification of students in need of extra assistance/tutoring needs
- Ability to perform other duties specified by supervisor and/or designee.
- Thorough understanding of curriculum and various courses within the assigned program of study
- Organize and maintain materials; handouts; classroom equipment; etc.
Welding Curriculum:
Ability to instruct the following courses:
Blue Print Reading for Welders
Layout and Fabrication
Shielded Metal Arc Welding
Flux Cored Arc Welding
Gas Metal Arc Welding
Gas Tungsten Arc Welding
Pipe Welding
