System One Sr. Industrial Mechanic in Washington, Pennsylvania
Job Title: Sr. Industrial Mechanic

Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $83200 annually
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Objective
Diagnose, repair, and restore electromechanical systems including electric motors, pumps, and related assemblies to operational standards while maintaining documentation and safety compliance.
Responsibilities
Review work orders to identify job status, authorization limits, cost estimates, and reported malfunctions
Conduct diagnostic testing on electromechanical systems using AC or DC testing methods to identify failures
Disassemble equipment while documenting component identification, assembly configuration, and part condition
Clean assemblies using parts washers, steam cleaners, caustic baths, glass beaders, and similar methods
Measure and order appropriate replacement components through approved requisition processes
Replace or rebuild defective parts including bearings, brushes, brush holders, motor leads, gears, seals, impellers, mechanical switches, brakes, clutches, clutch rotors, tachs, fans, and end shields
Perform post-repair testing to verify proper output and operational performance
Complete job documentation accurately and within required timeframes
Operate specialized diagnostic and repair equipment as needed
Maintain organized and clean workspace
Follow safety protocols and utilize required protective equipment (eye protection, hearing protection)
Assist other mechanics and service personnel with tasks as assigned
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
Completion of hands-on apprenticeship program preferred
Basic mechanical aptitude
Ability to learn and apply skill-based training and operational procedures
Frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds
Regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds; stand and walk for extended periods
Occasionally lift and move objects exceeding 100 pounds
Climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl as needed
Use hands for handling, gripping, and reaching tasks
Clear vision at 20+ feet (with or without corrective lenses)
Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Preferences
Prior experience with electromechanical repair
Familiarity with AC and DC testing equipment
Background in motor rebuild or electromechanical troubleshooting
