Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Associate Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Team Member to join our team for the 1st Shift, Monday-Friday from 6AM-2:30PM. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering parts and products, preparing them for shipment, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness in order fulfillment. This position ensures production stays on schedule and customers receive the quality and service they expect. Success in this role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders accurately to support internal teams and external customers.
Load and unload trucks using appropriate material-handling equipment while following all safety procedures.
Receive incoming materials, verify accuracy, and stock items in designated locations to maintain efficient workflow.
Replenish inventory to prevent production interruptions and support operational demand.
Transport materials throughout the facility to support daily production and shipping needs.
Work collaboratively with production, logistics, and warehouse teams to meet daily goals.
Participate in 5S and continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate waste, improve flow, and maintain an organized workspace.
Support problem-solving efforts and follow best-known methods to complete work safely and efficiently.
Adapt to changing business needs by assisting other departments when required.
Essential Skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Experience in shipping & receiving, warehouse, or a material handling role.
Basic computer skills.
Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material handling equipment (Nice to Have, not required).
Flexibility to assist other departments as required.

Work Environment
Candidates will be working in a warehouse/manufacturing environment on a small shipping and receiving team. The role involves using various material handling equipment and ensuring safety and efficiency in the workspace.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, MO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.46 - $21.54/hr.
