Michigan Land Care, LLC is a well-established, highly experienced provider of commercial and residential services including three different divisions -- (1) lawn installation and mowing (2) landscape installation and (3) landscape maintenance. Michigan Land Care, LLC, headquartered in Clinton Township, Michigan, is seeking 4 temporary fulltime Outside Maintenance Workers for landscape maintenance work. The job will include worksites in Macomb and Oakland counties. In order to perform the job duties, travel is required to various worksites daily whether at private residences or commercial properties. The worker will be required to arrive at the place of employment at 22687 Morelli Drive, Clinton Township, MI 48036. Michigan Land Care, LLC will provide transportation to the worksites and all the necessary tools, equipment and supplies without charge or deposit. Michigan Land Care, LLC will also provide on-the-job training. The work hours will be approximately from 7:30 a.m. -- 4:30 p.m., Monday -- Friday; 40 hours a week with overtime periodically required. If there are more than 40 hours worked in a week, he or she will be paid time-and-a-half for all hours worked, more than 40 hours. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least threefourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. The worker will be paid weekly, and Michigan Land Care, LLC will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. The job position is for temporary need starting April 1, 2026 and ending October 30, 2026. Michigan Land Care, LLC will make all appropriate deductions from the worker's paycheck as required by law and will not intend to withhold any deductions that are not required by law.
JOB DESCRIPTION Our outside maintenance workers perform the following duties:
Maintains the appearance of established landscapes. Prune or trim shrubs and trees. Cultivate gardens and laying of protective barriers and removing weeds. Cleaning of flower beds. Spreading of mulch and/or landscape rock. Maintain tools and equipment to ensure proper function. Upkeep of facilities. Tool usage to include pruning saws, hedge trimmers, electric clippers, chain saws and shears.
