Position Description
Minimum Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Minimum Experience 5 Summary Guides and/or participates in the development, implementation, and management of cloud-based systems. Leads and/or participates in the development of common components and templates for resources in cloud using the most relevant method (e.g., Infrastructure as code). With some guidance, regularly reviews cloud systems for vulnerabilities. Leads the process for and/or participates in the collaboration process with engineers and development teams on cloud solutions. Guides and/or participates in the identification and optimization of various cloud resources to increase efficiency and/or lower cost of solutions. Has advanced knowledge of cloud computing architectures (e.g., resource pooling, on-demand self-service, scalability, elasticity, security, and serverless computing). Based on research and business requirements, guides and/or provides recommendations to modify and improve existing cloud systems. Duties and Responsibilities
Position Requirements
Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and five years’ experience. Must have advanced knowledge (i.e., demonstrates broad understanding and contributes to the success of work in applicable areas) in the following areas: system administration, cloud technology platforms, cloud tools/services, and DevOps. Must be able to work effectively with staff. Must be able to support one or more of the following: database management, programming, cloud security/recovery, and cloud-centric integration. Desired knowledge in the following areas: • Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate (MS-203) • Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate (MS-700) • Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900) • Proofpoint Certified Administrator • Experience with Enterprise Vault administration and EV-to-M365 migrations • Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) • Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, etc.) • Experience with Microsoft Teams voice/calling and Direct Routing • GitHub/version control for script management Desired Soft Skills: • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities • Excellent documentation and communication skills • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities • Customer service orientation for end-user support • Proactive approach to system monitoring and maintenance Remarks: The ideal candidate will possess and demonstrate knowledge in the following areas: Exchange & Email • Exchange Server 2016/2019/SE and Exchange Online administration • Hybrid Exchange configuration and coexistence management • Email security protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, TLS/SSL, MTA-STS) • Mail flow troubleshooting and transport rule configuration • Mailbox migration tools and methodologies Microsoft Teams • Teams administration including governance, policies, and compliance • Teams voice/calling configuration (Phone System, Direct Routing) • Teams PowerShell module and Microsoft Graph API • Meeting and live event configuration • Teams device administration M365 Platform • Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Security & Compliance Center, and Teams Admin Center • Azure AD/Entra ID administration and conditional access • Microsoft 365 licensing and service management • DLP policies and information protection across workloads Security & Compliance • Proofpoint Email Protection platform (or similar email security solution) • eDiscovery and content search across Exchange and Teams • Retention policies and records management • Compliance features including communication compliance and information barriers Scripting & Automation • PowerShell scripting (Exchange Management Shell, Exchange Online PowerShell, Teams PowerShell) • Microsoft Graph API basics • Automation and bulk operations scripting • Basic understanding of Power Automate Infrastructure • Active Directory and DNS management • Certificate management and PKI basics • Load balancers and network connectivity concepts • Windows Server administration External Posting Policy U.S. citizenship required.
