Overview
SharePoint Developer(C80-2026-24664):
Bowhead seeks a SharePoint Developer to execute mission-critical functions, including task management, audit support, data calls, records management, workforce collaboration, and executive reporting.SEA 01 requires a SharePoint Developer who will also provide direct support to the Activity Command Information Officer (ACIO). This role integrates enterprise collaboration platform delivery with command-level IT governance, compliance oversight, cybersecurity alignment, and information management initiatives.
Responsibilities
Gather user requirements and provide recommendations for SharePoint Online design, configuration, and implementation
Develop and maintain SharePoint and Microsoft Teams workspace templates, including provisioning, permissions, lifecycle management, and external sharing controls
Implement and enforce SPO site standards aligned with NAVSEA and DON collaboration and records management policies
Support hub site architecture and cross-directorate information architecture
Configure lists, libraries, metadata, and data structures to support reporting, audit readiness, and data traceability
Monitor platform usage, storage, and performance to ensure reliability and availability
Integrate SharePoint with Microsoft Power Platform tools for reporting and visualization
Provide Tier 2/3 support for SharePoint and M365 collaboration services
Develop user guides, SOPs, training materials, and knowledge resources
Troubleshoot workflow, permissions, and data structure issues
Support governance controls, including provisioning standards, naming conventions, and access reviews
Coordinate with enterprise platform owners regarding configuration or policy updates
ACIO Support & IT Operations
Provide Tier 1 IT support, including account provisioning, password resets, software installation, and troubleshooting
Administer distribution groups, shared mailboxes, and permissions within authorized systems
Support workforce onboarding and offboarding activities
Maintain IT asset accountability and lifecycle tracking
Provide operational support for conference room and office technology (AV systems, printers, shared devices)
Support leadership mobile device configuration and troubleshooting
Assist with records management documentation, audit responses, and IT governance materials
Support preparation of artifacts for inspections, assessments, and cybersecurity reviews
Communicate enterprise IT updates, standards, and implementation guidance to stakeholders
Qualifications
Active DoD Secret security clearance or eligibility to obtain one
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
2–6 years of experience supporting SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, or collaboration platforms
Working knowledge of DoD or Federal IT governance and cybersecurity compliance processes
Experience supporting CIO/ACIO-level governance or reporting functions
Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Proficiency with SharePoint administration tools and PowerShell scripting
Familiarity with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 applications
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting NAVSEA, Navy, or Warfare Center organizations
Master’s degree in a technology-related field
Experience working within an IT service management/ticketing system
CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent baseline certification)
Microsoft certifications (e.g., Power Platform, Microsoft 365, SharePoint-related credentials)
ITIL Foundation certification

Work Environment
Full-time, on-site position located at Washington Navy Yard, DC Metro Area
May require coordination with enterprise service providers and external stakeholders
Position supports mission-critical systems in a regulated federal IT environment
Targeted Salalry range will be $90,0000-$110,000 annually based on qualifications and experience.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Mustbe able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
