Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with division leadership to develop policy initiatives, programs, and member services to support key policy verticals, including the Defense and Aerospace Council, the Federal Acquisition Council, the NATO Summit Defense Industry Forum, the Cyber Leadership Council, and international cyber delegations.

  • Oversee engagement with the staff of senior U.S. and foreign government officials.

  • Maintain CRM lists.

  • Maintain congressional outreach.

  • Mentor junior members and interns of the CSNS team.

  • Manage event preparation, including directing budget decisions and tracking; building program content; engaging with the Chamber’s Member Relations Division to develop and fill audience goals; coordinating with speakers; and drafting event briefing memoranda, remarks, and talking points.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years’ related experience in operations, project management, fundraising, member relations, national security/international security policy, or related fields.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to establish strong professional relationships with flexibility and conscientiousness.

  • Creative and strategic thinking with emphasis on customer service to meet client objectives.

  • Superior interpersonal and organizational skills to plan and execute complex events.
