We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with expertise in healthcare renovation projects to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing job schedules using Microsoft Project, managing subcontractor processes, and overseeing bid proposals from multiple subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers. Additionally, this role involves tracking and managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and purchase orders, as well as running weekly meetings with contractors and owners.
Responsibilities
Prepare job schedules using Microsoft Project.
Manage subcontractor processes effectively.
Track and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and purchase orders.
Oversee and manage bid proposals from subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
Conduct weekly meetings with contractors and owners.
Essential Skills
5 years of experience as a Project Manager focusing on interior renovation construction.
Strong understanding of the construction process from conception to completion.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience in managing and overseeing project budgets.
Proficiency in healthcare construction, specifically hospital renovation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Hospital construction experience, preferably with interior renovation.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Work Environment
This position is based onsite in Virginia, with a desk available at the HQ office in Navy Yard, D.C. Work will primarily take place on project sites, with flexibility to work from the office when not required on-site.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, DC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $39.00 - $43.50/hr.
