Position Description:
CGI is seeking an PMO Analyst who is passionate about solving challenging client problems. As a CGI PMO Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting project management and business process optimization efforts. You will work closely with the client and cross-functional teams to analyze business needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness. As a member of the CGI Team, you will provide PMO support and apply standard Project Delivery Framework (PDF) standard techniques to plan, execute, monitor, control, and close all aspects of the project lifecycle. You will independently capture and track risks and issues and maintains change logs, examine project documentation/data for completeness and accuracy, and follow up with project team members as required. The activities of the PMO are centralized around resource and work planning & control, budget management, change management, reporting, and product quality control. You may be asked to produce project reports and ensures that status reporting is fit for purpose, complete, timely, accurate, and communicated effectively. Additionally, supporting special initiatives in areas of business process, and training will occur as it relates to systems.
You will be joining the International Affairs (IAF) group to support the mission of U.S. security, economic well-being, and worldwide relations. Working with various clients in the US federal space, IAF supports missions that foster national security, foreign relations and resilient democratic societies. This position is located in Washington, D.C..
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects to ensure timely delivery and alignment with business objectives
Conduct research and analysis to identify business process improvement opportunities
Collaborate with project leads to gather requirements and document business processes
Support the development and implementation of process optimization strategies
Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to management
-Participate in meetings and workshops to facilitate project discussions and decision-making
-Provide administrative support to project teams as needed
. Assists in evaluating proposals for data collection through an understanding of the functional area's business and applications needs.
. Assists in planning and implementing activities required for the collection and analysis of data related to Project/Business needs, including the enhancing of data collection/reporting systems.
. Work alongside the project team for the planning and delivery of specific project activities requiring data collection and processing. Liaise with other functional areas where applicable.
. Maintains specific Project data collection systems (e.g. databases and spreadsheets) by troubleshooting problems, providing user support and education and promoting integration with other systems
. Develops and runs basic queries and other data collection spreadsheets to support assigned business areas and organizes them in a format for ease of review and use.
. Distills business processes to key project team members and business leads and create and document processes to identify opportunities to automate and/or improve an existing process.
. Assists in conducting complicated and detailed analyses of data relative to the project / applicable business function.
. Consults with internal and external customers to identify user needs to compile and query data.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
An interim Secret clearance is required to begin working onsite with our client, and a Secret clearance must be maintained throughout the project duration. Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required.

. Knowledge of data gathering, cleaning, and transformation techniques
. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
. 1-3 years experience working with data sets
. Strong written and verbal communication skills
. Self-driven and fast learner
. Ability to apply problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to data
. Exercises logic and reasoning to define problems, establish facts and draw valid conclusions;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment as a part of an agile/client facing team

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $51,600.00 - $121,100.00.
