Absolute Solutions and Associates is expanding and
seeking
skilled, dependable Handyman/ Maintenance Technician to support our growing residential and light commercial portfolio.
The Handyman/ Maintenance Technician performs general home repairs, preventive maintenance, and unit turnover services for residential and light commercial properties. This position requires hands-on experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining
high standards
of quality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Perform HVAC preventive maintenance (filter changes, basic troubleshooting)
Conduct minor plumbing repairs (fixtures, leaks, clogs, shut-off valves)
Check and Replace Smoke Detectors
Replace bathroom and kitchen fixtures
Install and replace appliances (stoves, refrigerators, washers, dryers)
Replace lighting fixtures, switches, and outlets (non-licensed scope)
Perform professional interior painting
Complete drywall repair and patching
Perform floor repairs and minor carpentry
Repair doors, door frames, and hardware (doorknobs, hinges, etc.)
Apply caulking and complete cosmetic touch-ups
Conduct unit turnovers, safety checks, and readiness inspections
Respond to work orders promptly and professionally
