Job Summary
EMCOR Government Services is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to support a complex of buildings totally approximately 350,000 square feet in Washington, DC. The Maintenance Engineer shall complete all engineering operations and mechanical/electrical maintenance of the facility under the general direction of the Lead Engineer.

This position is contingent upon contract award.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Lead Engineer, the Maintenance Engineer shall:
Operate all building systems in a safe and efficient manner.
Perform assigned preventive maintenance, reactive maintenance, capital alterations and utility tasks.
Respond as required to emergency situations.
Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance procedures and schedules on facility mechanical equipment.
Chemically treat water systems as required, utilizing a designated water treatment service.
cooperate with Client personnel in laying out maintenance schedules to agree with plant and system operating schedules.
Provide necessary assistance and advice in the maintenance engineer's area of expertise to other plant personnel when required.
Stay informed of mechanical maintenance procedures and developments in plant equipment and operations
Prepare reports and keep records as required.
Actively assist the Lead Engineer in implementing other activities such as safety and fire protection.
Qualifications
Shall possess a Universal CFC License
Shall possess experience in mechanical and operations involving chillers, boilers, heat exchangers, heavy duty pumps, compressors, instruments, diesel engineers, control valves, cooling towers, refrigeration equipment and other similar equipment
Ability to understand the French Language is a plus

Geographic Disclosure
Compensation Range: $41.35/hr. - $46.15/ hr.
