About the Role
MIRACORP, Inc. is seeking a highly organized Executive Assistant to provide specialized administrative and management support to senior leadership within the U.S. Department of Energy. This role supports the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Spent Fuel and Waste Disposition (NE8) and the Office of General Counsel (GC72), managing complex calendars, coordinating high-level meetings, and handling sensitive correspondence and logistics across DOE offices.
Location: U.S. Department of Energy Headquarters, Washington, DC & Germantown, MD
Essential Functions
Executive Scheduling & Coordination
Manage complex executive calendars and prioritize engagements
Coordinate high-level meetings, hybrid setups, and A/V support
Liaise with DOE-HQ, NE8, GC72, and external stakeholders
Correspondence & Document Management
Handle classified and sensitive correspondence with discretion
Prepare agendas, meeting minutes, readouts, and presentations
Support document review workflows for GC72
Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including large-batch mailings
Logistics & Administrative Support
Manage visitor access, escort visitors, and support DOE facility logistics
Maintain training and certification records for NE8
Provide high-quality administrative support to senior leadership
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma and 7+ years of executive-level support experience OR Associate’s degree and 5 years OR Bachelor’s degree and 3 years
Expert calendar and meeting management skills
Experience with federal travel regulations (FTR)
Strong writing and communication skills
Ability to handle classified information with discretion
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
