TekSynap Exchange and Messaging System Engineer in Washington, District Of Columbia

Responsibilities & Qualifications

We are seeking a Exchange and Messaging System Engineer to join our team supporting the Transportation Team .

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

  • 5–8 years in email operations.

Certifications

  • Microsoft Exchange Server / M365 Administrator

  • Security Education

  • Bachelor's in information technology or network administration.

Clearance:

  • Public Trust

RESPONSIBILITIES

Administers enterprise messaging environments, ensuring secure and available email operations.

  • Manage Microsoft Exchange Online and M365 integration.

  • Oversee email routing, spam filtering, and backup configurations.

  • Ensure compliance with DOT records management and data retention policies.

  • Provide Tier 3 email support and configuration documentation.

  • Work schedule: Schedule is day shift Monday – Friday. May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.

  • Amount of Travel: 30% within WMA

WAGE INFORMATION

Target salary range: $100,000 - $125,000. The salary range displayed is an estimate and will be determined based on several factors, including the individual’s combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements. The listed salary represents one component of the total compensation package for employees.
