Tetrad Digital Integrity LLC Business Development Manager - Navy and Defense Cybersecurity in Washington, District Of Columbia
Tetrad Digital Integrity (TDI) is a 25 year old cybersecurity business with tremendous market traction - multi-year prime contracts, active broad and cyber-specific contract vehicles, technologies (door openers) we’ve built, and recognized leadership in the cyber market. We are not starting from zero, and this is not a caretaker BD role.
We are looking for a high-energy, execution-focused Business Development Manager who is hungry to win, willing to roll up their sleeves, and excited to build pipeline and close business using assets most BD professionals never get access to.
This role is focused on Navy and Defense cybersecurity growth including partners like Google and Scale.ai.
If you want a platform where your effort directly translates to wins - and where leadership, tools, disciplined strategy, and past performance are already in place - this role is for you.
Why This Role Is Different
You will be backed by:
25+ years of prime government contracting past performance
Highly successful GSA Highly Adaptive Cybersecurity Services (HACS) vendor
CnSight®, a fully built cybersecurity product for operating high-performing cyber missions
Cybersecurity Performance Management (CPM™) — a framework and domain TDI defined and that Gartner recognizes
Active, real-world work across Defense. Also doing work in IC, Congressional, and Commercial markets that may contribute to Defense growth.
Direct access to senior leadership and decision-makers - no BD bureaucracy, a seat at the table
This is a role for someone who wants to hunt, shape, and win, not just manage spreadsheets.
What You’ll Do:
Identify, qualify, and shape new Navy and Defense cyber opportunities
Actively engage customers and mission stakeholders to help create and influence demand
Build and maintain a high-quality, executable pipeline aligned to TDI’s growth strategy
Lead or drive RFI responses and early capture activities for priority opportunities
Develop and execute clear win themes in partnership with technical and capture leaders
Build and leverage teaming and industry partner relationships
Use TDI’s services, products, frameworks, past performance, and vehicles as force multipliers
Operate in a high-accountability, small-team environment where results matter
Who We’re Looking For
We care more about drive, judgment, and execution than perfect resumes.
Qualifications: what you bring!
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of business development experience in government IT services
(additional experience may substitute for degree)
At least 1+ year of cybersecurity-related government services exposure
Comfort speaking cybersecurity frameworks, domains, and acronyms
Demonstrated ability to build customer and partner relationships, especially if in Navy environments
Experience supporting or leading RFIs, capture activities, and proposal development
Strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to engage customers and senior leaders
Ability to manage multiple opportunities in a fast-moving environment
Nice to Have (Not Deal-Breakers):
Experience with DoD, Air Force, or Army cybersecurity programs
Exposure to IDIQs, GWACs, BPAs, or GSA vehicles (including HACS)
Existing Navy or teaming partner relationships
Active Secret or Top-Secret clearance (or ability to obtain one) is not required but is a plus
Familiarity with DC, Northern VA and Hampton Roads, understanding of San Diego market is a plus
Work Environment & Travel
Hybrid role with in-person customer and partner engagement
Primary work focus in DC, Northern VA, and Tidewater VA
Travel focused on relationship-building, opportunity shaping, and growth
