About the Role:

As a CBRE Union Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintainingsmall to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. Theyare responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs onequipment and systems.

1st and 3rd shift available based on availability.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair on mechanical, electrical,and other building systems.

• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, andmake repairs.

• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment andsystems.

• Review assigned work orders estimate the time and materials needed tocomplete repairs. Work with available systems to track completion.

• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operatingefficiently.

• Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes andsafety regulations.

• Follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work. Deliverown output by following defined procedures and processes under closesupervision and guidance.

• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchangestraightforward information in a clear, concise manner.

• Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail.

• Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under closesupervision and guidance.

What You’ll Need:

• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States withoutthe need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

• Universal CFC certification required.

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years ofjob-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience andeducation will be considered.

• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing,walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of50 lbs. or more.

• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application ofwork.

• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel,Outlook, etc.

• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Pay Disclaimer: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $36.05/hr and the maximum salary for this position is $36.59/hr. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
