Description We are looking for an organized and proactive Office Manager to oversee daily operations at our Washington, DC office. This is a Contract position where you will play a key role in maintaining a detail-oriented and efficient workplace. The ideal candidate will thrive in a self-directed environment and excel at multitasking while providing exceptional support to the team.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain office supplies, ensuring inventory is stocked and orders are placed as needed.
• Oversee accounts payable processes, including invoice management and vendor communications.
• Perform receptionist duties, including greeting visitors and managing incoming calls with courtesy and attention to detail.
• Coordinate administrative tasks to ensure efficient office operations.
• Act as the primary point of contact for facility needs and maintenance requests.
• Support team members with various clerical and organizational tasks.
• Monitor and ensure a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers to maintain smooth office functionality.
• Contribute to a positive workplace culture by fostering friendly and attentive interactions. Requirements • Proven experience in office management or a similar administrative role.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in managing accounts payable and related financial processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team members and external stakeholders.
• Familiarity with ordering and maintaining office supplies.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently on tasks during slower periods.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
