Eastway Ranch of Opportunity Therapist in Washington Court House, Ohio
We are currently hiring for a therapist (LSW or LPC) for our Ranch of Opportunity facility. The Ranch of Opportunity offers a peaceful, spacious, and healthy environment for girls aged 13 to 17 that have experienced trauma to live, learn, and grow in a residential treatment program. Our mission is to create new chances, new choices, and new hope for traumatized children and their families by breaking the vicious cycle of child abuse and addressing the self-destructive behaviors brought on by experiencing severe trauma in childhood. This therapist will be supported by a team including other therapists and a clinical director.
Therapist Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assures quality care by completing thorough, timely diagnostic assessments of clients and families upon their admission and providing recommendations to the interdisciplinary team.
- Assures quality care by developing individual Treatment Plans in collaboration with clients, families, and other members of the treatment center interdisciplinary team and providing treatment plan updates in accordance with agency and licensing/accrediting body standards.
- Assures quality care by providing individual, group, and family therapy to clients and their families.
- Ensures quality care by participating in daily meetings and scheduled case conferences with clients.
- Helps to improve the quality of services by participating in quality improvement and service excellence activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work or a related field. Preferred - Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work or a related field.
- License Required: LSW, LPC, LISW or LPCC
- Knowledge of and experience with mental health treatment (required) and substance abuse treatment (preferred), knowledge of and experience working with children with behavioral problems.
- The position requires candidates to pass Safe Crisis Management (SCM) Training.
