Fayette County Department of Job and Family Services Child Support Case Manager in Washington Court House, Ohio
Conducts enforcement activity and investigations on cases pursuant to IV-D program regulations.
Reviews case load and identifies cases needing action.
Audits cases for court and provides testimony as to agency's records.
Audits financial documents, processes withholdings, conducts terminations, to ensure correct support payments.
Interviews involved parties to confirm facts, verify data, locate persons and financial assets
Makes recommendations for court referrals and prepares cases.
Establishes and enforces child support orders, including managing wage garnishments, liens, and default judgements.
Provides direct services to customers.
Minimum qualifications
Any combination of training and work experience, which indicates possession of the skills, knowledge, and abilities necessary to perform this job. Child support program experience, intergovernmental knowledge and college coursework preferred but not required. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of Microsoft programs(Word, Excel, Powerpoint, TEAMS, and Sharepoint). Exceptional customer service skills and ability to respectfully respond to customer frustrations. Ability to work concurrently on multiple tasks/projects. Must be adaptable and willing to work in a team environment.
